Longest win streaks in UFC history

What counts. A streak is a run of consecutive bouts on the UFC record that the fighter won. Anything that is not a win ends it: a loss, a draw, a no-contest, an overturned result. That is the strict reading and it is the one every row here can be checked against one fight at a time — the looser rule, where a night struck from the record neither extends nor ends a run, quietly stitches two separate streaks into one. Where the run reaches the fighter’s most recent UFC bout it is marked unbroken: they have not lost since. That is a fact about the record and not a claim that they are still fighting. A fighter appears once, for their longest run; where two of their runs are the same length it is the earlier one, because the first run to reach a mark is the one that reached it. A win is a bout the official UFC record names this fighter the winner of. An overturned result is not a win here — the result was taken away — and it is not a loss either; it is counted as a fight and as nothing else. Draws and no-contests are counted the same way. One name on the record is shared by two different fighters our source roster cannot tell apart, so any career total under it would be two people’s added together. It is left out of every page in this family entirely — the same reason that fighter’s own page is withheld — rather than published as a total that is nobody’s. A bout carries a weight class; a career does not. On a division page each fighter is filed under the division they were in for most of the bouts THIS record counts — where the wins were actually won, not where they finished up — with a tie going to their most recent bout. Fighters whose counted bouts carry no weight class on the record (catchweight, open weight, the 1990s tournaments) appear only on the all-divisions page. Where two fighters share a total they are listed by the earlier start to their record and then alphabetically — they did not reach the same number in any order, so a tie-break claiming precedence would be an assertion the record does not contain.
