How this page is worked out
Two sources, and nothing else. Who holds a belt comes from the UFC’s own weekly rankings table — the fighter in the champion slot — and every fight named here comes from the official statistical record. There is no prediction, no rating and no market price anywhere on this page.
“Champion since” is the fight, not the table. The rankings are published weekly, so the first table that shows a new champion is always days after the night they won the belt. Where the record contains a title fight that this fighter won just before that table, the page uses the DATE OF THE FIGHT and names it. Where it does not — a champion promoted from an interim belt, for instance — the page says “as of” the first table and invents no earlier date. 9 of the 10 reigns on this page are dated from the fight.
Reigns are not broken by Christmas. The UFC stops publishing over the new year, so a reign that spans one appears in the raw history as two. Where the same fighter is champion on both sides of a publication gap, that is one reign here, because the belt did not change hands.
A draw and a no contest look the same on the record. The result column carries one value for both, so a bout it marks that way is described as “a draw or no contest” rather than resolved into one of them.
Women’s featherweight. The UFC has published no women’s featherweight ranking since 15 August 2023, and no women’s featherweight title fight is on the record after that. The division is on this page, marked as no longer ranked, because quietly dropping a belt is its own claim.
