In 1994–2000, 3% of UFC fights were split decisions. In 2020–2026 it is 9%. The high is 11% in 2013–2019; the low 2% in 2001–2005.

What counts. A split decision is the official record’s own method code (“Decision - Split”); majority decisions are a separate code and are not counted here. The share is of ALL fights, not of decisions only. A fight is a UFC bout on the official record with a result. Draws, no-contests and overturned results are excluded from every count on this page; disqualifications and could-not-continues are counted as fights, which is why the knockout, submission and decision shares do not add up to 100%.
