Rafael dos Anjos will fight for the first time in nearly two years when he meets Alexander Hernandez at UFC 332 on Oct. 3 in Salt Lake City.
MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Damon Martin confirmed the welterweight booking with sources. ESPN Brasil reported the matchup first.
The bout will be the 50th of dos Anjos' professional career. His 32-17 record accounts for 49 fights, which makes Hernandez No. 50.
Dos Anjos, a former UFC lightweight champion, has not competed since October 2024. He lost that night at UFC 308 by technical knockout 90 seconds into the fight.
By the time he walks to the cage in Salt Lake City, the layoff will have run almost exactly two years.
Dos Anjos won his title at lightweight. The Hernandez fight is booked at welterweight.
Hernandez is 18-9, a mark that covers 27 professional fights.
The fight will be dos Anjos' first of 2026.
