Quillan Salkilld submitted Mateusz Gamrot with a rear-naked choke in the first round Saturday, ending the main event of UFC Vegas 120 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
The card, also billed UFC Fight Night 284, ran 12 fights on Aug. 8. It produced five decisions, four KO/TKO finishes and three submissions, with stoppages in the first, second and third rounds.
Darren Elkins fought for the last time and was stopped in 35 seconds.
Yadier Del Valle finished him by KO/TKO in the first round. It was the 31st UFC fight of Elkins' career and his last. He joined the roster in 2010 and retires at 42 with a UFC record of 19-11.
It was not the send-off he wanted.
Elkins had talked before the card about the toll of the job. "I'm older in age now, but mostly I'm starting to get hurt a little bit more often," he said.
"Man, it's been fun," he said.
Alexia Thainara beat Amanda Lemos by unanimous decision. Diego Ferreira beat Billy Quarantillo by unanimous decision. Ty Miller stopped Billy Ray Goff by KO/TKO in the third round, and Miles Johns stopped Gianni Vazquez in the first.
Juliana Miller submitted Ravena Oliveira in the second round. Jose Montanha submitted Louie Sutherland in the first. Diyar Nurgozhay stopped Bruno Lopes in the first.
Steven Asplund, Manoel Sousa and Carol Foro each won unanimous decisions, over Guilherme Pat, Richie Miranda and Gigi Canuto.

Both flagged picks won. The model had Alexia Thainara at 75.5% and Ty Miller at 73.2%, and had the method right on both. There was no LOCK on the card.
